If you would like help with a cat rescue or trap neuter return (TNR) project in Flatbush or East Flatbush, please fill out the above service request form. If you’re looking for help outside of Flatbush, try contacting The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals or Neighborhood Cats. If you found a cat and aren’t sure where to take it, please contact Animal Care Centers of NYC for more info.

If you’re located in Flatbush or East Flatbush, please fill out the above form to request help. We can also help you get trained to fix the cats on your block. We prioritize support for TNR certified volunteers, so if you can, get registered for a class with Neighborhood Cats! If you’re not in Flatbush, please do a Google and Instagram search to find local rescues in your area and contact them. In many cases a TNR/rescue group might not exist yet — that’s what happened to us and why we exist!

We are not equipped to handle intake for all of the friendly strays on the street. There are just too many. Currently, our support is limited to the local Flatbush and East Flatbush area. If you are in the area, please fill out the form above to get connected with a Case Manager. If you are outside the area and able to foster the cat or find a friend who can take them in, even holding them in a bathroom for a few days, you can email help@flatbushcats.org for tips on getting them healthy and finding a new home or foster. Please note our priority is making sure every cat in Flatbush has been spayed/neutered; we are not a shelter.
-
We are not an intake shelter and do not accept cats from the public. Please contact your nearest shelter or Animal Care Centers of NYC for more info. If you are located in our target zip codes (11203, 11210, 11225, 11226), you can fill out a request for support for additional information.
