Job Description:
Position: Licensed Veterinary Technician, Wellness Team
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Four 10 hour shifts

We’re on a mission to make veterinary care affordable for the 50% of pet-owning households struggling with the costs of basic vet visits. By providing subsidized spay, neuter, and wellness services, our team directly impacts families and rescuers, making a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in our clinic. You’ll leverage your expertise in surgical veterinary practice to support our goal of delivering high-quality, affordable care. Your responsibilities will range from assisting veterinarians in exams and surgeries to engaging with clients and their pets, ensuring a compassionate and efficient service.
Note: this role is part of our high-volume wellness team. Special consideration given to candidates interested or willing to cross-train into our HVHQ S/N or dental departments.
You Will:
Provide stellar care and support to pets and their owners
Assist in all aspects of veterinary services, including surgical procedures, medication preparation, and patient care
Run and manage technician appointments
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and care
Manage client communications effectively, offering education and support
Ideal Candidate
Hold a current NYS Veterinary Technician License
2+ years of experience in a high-volume clinic (preferred)
2+ years experience in an animal clinic/hospital (required)
Excels in communication, teamwork, and has a proactive approach to learning and growth
Can meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule: 10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
New York State Veterinary Technician License required
Location: In-person in Flatbush Brooklyn
